Delete Intents

Intents can be removed under certain circumstances

The option to delete intents is only available to customers who use the new AI model.

Customers using the new AI model can independently remove intents.
To delete an intent, select the intent out of the list. After selecting the intent, the general information displays on the right hand side.

For all customers using the priorly used AI-Model, the following information applies:

Intents that have been added cannot be removed. They represent a building block of the comprehensive AI model on the basis of which the chatbot operates. The individual intents are reciprocally connected, which means that deleting individual intents can lead to a reduction in the quality of the AI model or recognition.

As an AI as a service provider, moinAI takes over the quality assurance and further development of AI recognition. AI experts at the company carry out ongoing analyses and optimizations to ensure optimal recognition of requests for the added topics.

Intents can differ in their conception (intention and typical user queries), but can be designed in the same way at the response level. The use of several topics is necessary for the fine-grained creation of an AI model and enables the best possible recognition of real user queries. Redirecting one intent to the other offers an option to use just one response for several intents, that can be designed equally on the response level.
The redirection can simply be selected in the response editor.Bildschirmfoto 2023-11-14 um 11.03.41

It should also be noted that topics may become (even more) relevant at a later point in time. There are some topics that are subject to seasonal fluctuations, e.g. because they are related to Christmas or a specific annual event.

However, if a topic should no longer be used, it can be deactivated in the status. It will then no longer be taken into account when the chatbot responds to enquiries. However, deactivated topics still count towards the topic quota of the booked licence.
